The book-introduction, chapter/week/lesson, and day-by-day narration in English uses an AI voice clone of the author's own voice (Dr. Jesse B. Davis), created and hosted through ElevenLabs. It is a synthetic reproduction, not a live recording of each individual session. Every book has narration for its book introduction and its chapter/week/lesson intros; only The Warrior's Heart and The Wind go further and narrate every individual day. Clothed in Strength and Dignity, Living Faithfully in Perilous Times, and Repent: The Road to Freedom have no narration yet — voice playback is intentionally off for these titles until real recorded narration exists.

Spanish voice narration

The app's Spanish-language edition is narrated by “Camila Reyes,” a professional narration voice licensed through ElevenLabs. All Spanish scripts are written by Dr. Jesse B. Davis, except for Living Faithfully in Perilous Times, whose Spanish text is a translation of Pastor John Payne's own message, and Repent: The Road to Freedom, whose Spanish text is a translation of Philip C. Muller's own message; the reading voice itself is AI-generated, selected and directed to match the intended tone and pacing. Every book has Spanish narration for its book introduction and its chapter/week/lesson intros; The Warrior's Heart and The Wind also have Spanish narration for every individual day. How to invite

Send the code above to the people you want in your group — text, email, however's easiest. When they choose "Join a group" and enter it, they're in. No app store, no account for them to set up.

How to host

Open a discussion when you're ready to gather (in person, on a call, however you meet) — it puts that week's questions in front of everyone at once. You don't need to have all the answers. Read the passage, ask the question, and let the silence do some of the work. Naming a struggle out loud is usually the hardest part for people — your job is mostly to hold space for that.

How to use the app

Your group chat is private to your people — use it for anything between sessions. Discussions are the structured, weekly conversation tied to the book. Prayer requests can come to you directly or get shared with the whole group, whichever the person sending it chooses.

Managing your group

If your code gets shared somewhere it shouldn't, or you just want a clean slate, you can leave and start a fresh group with a new code from the group switcher at the top of Connect.

Setting the schedule

Update "Next group meeting" with your actual day, time, and location so your group always knows when and where you're gathering next.

A word before you lead

You don't need to be the most spiritually mature person in the room to lead this well — you just need to show up and go first. That's usually enough to get everyone else talking.
